Tungsten Copper Bar, a refractory metal composite, is made from a combination of tungsten and copper or silver. The manufacturing process involves pressing the refractory material, sintering the pressed body at high temperature, and then infiltrating it with copper or silver. All steps are carried out under strictly controlled conditions. The result is a hard material with excellent arc and wear resistance, outstanding physical properties at high temperatures, and good electrical and thermal conductivity.
Good resistance for high temperature and arc erosion,high strength,high density,good electric and thermal conductivity,small thermal expansion,easy machining.It is widely used as electrodes of resistance welding and electric spark erosion cutting machines,arcing contacts and vacuum voltage breakers or vacuum interruptors.
