Copper tungsten stock is a pseudo-alloy composed of tungsten and copper. Due to tungsten's high melting point of 3042℃, traditional casting processes cannot be used to produce copper tungsten composites. Thanks to HOSO's advanced infiltration technology, our CuW exhibits excellent properties. Below is an outline of our copper tungsten composite manufacturing technique and process flow.
One of the benefits of copper tungsten alloy is its capability to adjust the ratio of tungsten and copper to achieve various performance characteristics. Tailored for different industrial applications, our copper tungsten series products are available in different grade levels.
Tungsten copper alloy, commonly used alloy copper content of 10% ~ 50%. The alloy is made by powder metallurgy and has good electrical and thermal conductivity and high temperature resistance
At very high temperatures, such as above 1500 ° C, the copper in the alloy is liquefied and evaporated, which absorbs a lot of heat and reduces the surface temperature of the material. Tungsten copper alloy has a wide range of uses, mainly used to manufacture arc ablation-resistant high-voltage electrical switch contacts and high-temperature components, but also used as electrical processing electrodes, high-temperature molds and other requirements for electrical conductivity and high-temperature use of occasions.
